Delivery

Our standard delivery of non-personalised items is 1 to 3 working days, but this can increase to 4 to 5 working days depending on the supplier. Personalised items have a delivery time of 7 to 10 working days; a delay in approval of logo proof could result in delivery being longer than initially expected. Expected delivery times may be affected during periods of high order volume.

Our stock levels are not ‘real time’ and are updated throughout the day, this means in some rare instances an item showing in stock may be no longer available. We aim to inform you of this within 1 working day.

We use either ParcelForce or DPD for our deliveries; however we do on occasion send items direct from our suppliers. Our deliveries may require a signature as proof of delivery, in some cases they can be left in a safe place or delivered to a neighbour. These instructions can be requested directly with our couriers; however this is at your own risk. If you are unavailable on the date of delivery our couriers will leave a card and rearrange delivery.

If you provide a mobile phone number with your order, you will receive a text message informing you of the date of your delivery, and another message with a delivery time slot (only with DPD). If you would like to track your order please get in contact with us and we can provide the consignment number.

All orders over £150 before VAT are delivered free of charge. Our standard delivery charge is £6.50 + VAT. Orders outside of mainland UK have their delivery calculated at the checkout or you can contact us for a price.

Returns & Exchanges

All returns must be authorised before they can be processed, no unauthorised returns will be accepted. You can request a return by contacting us at info@safetynetdirect.com or 0845 505 1001, please have your order number to hand. You must request a return/exchange within 14 days of delivery, and then have an additional 14 days to return the items to us. The items need to be in a resalable condition in their original packaging. All items returned will incur a 20% administration charge which will be deducted from the refund. We do not accept returns on personalised items, unless they are deemed faulty.

The returns postage is the responsibility of the customer, and remains the customer’s responsibility until they arrive back to us, so it is recommended adding tracking or insurance to cover any potential loss. If the item is being returned due to a fault, we will refund the delivery costs after an inspection of the item.

If you wish to exchange any items, please request an exchange and return the items to us. Once we have received these back, we will order in the new items. There will be an additional delivery charge of £6.50 + VAT for these to be sent out.

Cancellations

You can cancel your order for any reason before despatch and we will refund you in full. Any orders cancelled after they have been despatched will need to be returned to us at your expense before we can process the refund.
